NCH is the UK's leading children's charity. Through nearly 500 projects we help over 140,000 children, young people and their families across the UK. We work with more children and young people, including those affected by poverty, disability and abuse, than any other UK charity.

The current Chair of NCH's Council of Trustees, Gordon Edington, will end his term in July 2007. NCH is therefore looking to appoint a new Chair (designate) to start in July 2006 becoming Chair in July 2007. The appointment is for an initial period of three years, renewable for a further term of three years. The Chair will build upon NCH's reputation for excellence, leading and supporting the charity to allow us to help even more vulnerable and excluded children and young people.
